General Service
Q: What exactly does Can Caddy do?
A: We take your trash cans to the curb on collection day and return them afterward, so you never have to worry about missed pickups, HOA fines, or guests dealing with overflowing trash.
Q: Do you empty the trash from bags into your truck?
A: No. We are strictly a can-to-curb and back service. Your trash must be bagged and inside your can, ready for the city’s garbage truck to empty.
We do, however, offer an emergency pickup if cans fill up before trash day! See our drop shot service.
Q: What is the Drop Shot service?
A: Drop Shot is our on-demand pickup. If your trash can is overflowing before collection day, we’ll come empty the entire can and haul it away so you’re back to zero. Leaving room for your guests trash until trash day.
Cans & Trash
Q: What size cans do you handle?
A: We service standard residential garbage and recycling carts provided by your local hauler or city’s waste collection company.
Q: What if my can lid doesn’t close?
A: Cans must be able to close completely. If bags are sticking out or cans are overloaded, we may refuse service.
Q: Do you take extra bags left outside the can?
A: If you have more trash than what will fit in your can, you will need to book our drop shot service.

Q: How much does service cost?
A: Our plans start at $40/month (equating to just $10/week)
Our Drop Shot on-demand pickup is a flat fee of $50. See our Service Plans page for details.
Q: Do I have to sign a contract?
A: No! You can cancel anytime before your next billing cycle. We do not prorate your pricing if you choose to cancel. Service will continue for the rest of that billing cycle unless you choose to opt out and take a loss for the weeks you paid for already.
Reliability & Coverage
Q: What if I live in an HOA?
A: Great! We help you stay compliant by making sure your trash cans aren’t left out too early, too late, or overflowing.
We will just need to know your HOA’s regulations around garbage cans and collections .
Q: What areas do you service?
A: We currently serve most of Washington County, Utah. But we are looking to expand! Contact us to see if we cover your neighborhood.
Q: What if you miss a pickup?
A: If we ever miss your scheduled service (which is rare), we’ll make it right with a complimentary return trip where we empty your an ourselves. Our job is to make your rental stress free around trash!
Vacation Rentals
Q: Do you work with Airbnb or VRBO rentals?
A: Yes! Our service is perfect for vacation rentals. We keep your property guest-ready by ensuring trash is collected and guest have room to put trash bags.
Q: Can my guests schedule an on-demand Drop Shot pickup?
