Can Caddy – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions of service (“Terms”) govern the use of Can Caddy’s trash and recycling bin valet service. By signing up for or using our service, you agree to the following:

Service Overview

Can Caddy provides a curbside valet service that moves customers’ trash and recycling bins from their designated storage location to the curb on scheduled collection days and returns them after pickup. For on demand sevice, Can Caddy will dump contents of bin and replace bin to proper designated location after.

Scope of Service

  • Service is limited to transporting customer bins to and from the curb on the days scheduled by the customer’s waste hauler.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring bins are properly prepared for pickup, including securely closed lids and acceptable waste inside as defined by the waste hauler.

  • Can Caddy does not:

    • Empty bins from or remove waste from inside the home.

    • Handle hazardous, oversized, or prohibited materials.

  • Service will be performed in most weather conditions. However, Can Caddy reserves the right to skip service due to unsafe conditions, blocked access, or severe weather.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure bins are accessible for Can Caddy at the designated service time.

  • Keep bins in workable condition and free of significant damage.

  • Notify Can Caddy of any changes to collection schedules, access instructions, or property conditions.

  • Ensure cans are not overloaded and that lids can close fully.

Service Limitations & Refusal of Service

  • Can Caddy reserves the right to refuse service if bins are overloaded, damaged, contain prohibited materials, are inaccessible, or are not properly prepared for collection.

  • Missed service due to these issues is not refundable.

Payments & Billing

  • Payment is required in advance for all services.

  • Plans may be billed weekly, monthly, or as otherwise agreed upon.(default is monthly.)

  • Failure to provide timely payment may result in suspension or cancellation of service.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Customers may cancel service at any time by providing written notice via email to support@cancaddytrash.com

  • Refunds will not be issued for unused portions of prepaid service periods.

  • Can Caddy reserves the right to cancel service at any time with cause by providing notice and a prorated refund of unused prepaid services.

Liability

  • Can Caddy is not liable for missed waste hauler pickups, delays, or damages caused by the waste hauler.

  • Can Caddy is not responsible for damage to bins resulting from pre-existing conditions, improper use, or normal wear and tear.

  • Customers agree to release and hold harmless Can Caddy, its employees, and contractors from any liability arising out of use of the service, except in cases of proven negligence or misconduct.

Service Modifications

  • Can Caddy may update or modify these Terms at any time.

  • Customers will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
